Where To Pick Strawberries Near Rochester

Strawberry picking is a great summer activity that is on a lot of moms’ bucket lists! There are many local farms just outside of Rochester that offer U-Pick Strawberries. It’s a fun way to get the family outside, support local farms and learn about where our food comes from.

Tips For Strawberry Picking With Kids

  • Strawberry picking season is short so plan to go in June
  • Check the social media and website of the farm for up-to-date information
  • Go in the morning before it gets hot
  • Wear sneakers in case of muddy fields
  • Bring wipes to clean strawberry juice off hands after
  • Bring cash depending on the farm
