Seneca Zoo presents Wildlife Rescue Tales of Conservation
There’s something new coming to the zoo this summer! For a limited time, Seneca Park Zoo will have an interactive exhibit featuring 12 life-sized animal sculptures, each representing a species that has made an incredible comeback after facing extinction. The exhibit opens Memorial Day Weekend.
Take Care with Peanuts: The Exhibit at The Strong National Museum of Play
Based on the beloved Peanuts “Take Care” campaign and created by the Miami Children’s Museum, Take Care with Peanuts: The Exhibit transforms iconic Peanuts scenes into a hands-on experience that encourages creative thinking, emotional awareness, problem-solving, and collaboration. The exhibit will remain on view from May 30 through September 7.
Summer Festivals
Families can enjoy the many vibrant summer festivals held throughout the Rochester area. The season often begins with Canal Days in Fairport, featuring great food, local art, live music, and activities along the Erie Canal. In June, Rochester comes alive during the Rochester International Jazz Festival, when more than 1,750 artists perform over 300 concerts across 19 venues during the nine-day celebration.
