Growing up, we would always visit my grandfather for Christmas Eve and he would take our whole family out to a fancy restaurant for dinner. I remember getting dressed up in sparkly dresses, sitting at the table with the white linen tablecloth and napkins, staring out large windows at the nighttime cityscape of downtown Cincinnati.
