Rochester Mom Collective is a locally focused online parenting resource written FOR Rochester Moms BY Rochester Moms. All moms have a story to tell. What’s yours?
This is a volunteer position, but there are some really fun perks to make it all worthwhile.
There are two parts to the application process.
1) Complete the form below and submit a 800+ word writing sample on a subject that you are passionate about as a mom.
2) Meet with our founder over zoom for a quick interview.
What does it mean to be a Rochester Mom Collective Contributing Writer?
What You Give
- Submit one article per month for review and to be published on Rochester Mom Collective
- Commitment of at least 12 months
- Attend one quarterly meeting
- Make friends and support fellow Rochester Mom Collective Team Members
- Impact moms across Rochester
What You Receive
- Your photo and bio on the Rochester Mom Collective website
- Access to the Rochester Mom Collective Team internal communications
- New friendships and an amazing experience

If you are a local business owner and want to reach our audience, we would love to talk to you about our partnership options. We ask that writers refrain from writing about businesses with which they have a financial affiliation. We do NOT accept article marketing pitches from copywriters looking to exchange content for links, from writers affiliated with other sites or businesses, or from non-Rochester-area writers.
