George Eastman Museum: Holidays at the Museum

November 11 – December 31
It’s that wonderful time of year when so many of us look forward to getting into the spirit of the holiday season. The Eastman Museum brings you many opportunities to celebrate the holidays. While our annual displays will fill the museum with familiar cheer, we are excited to grow the diversity of our offering – Creation Sweets Gingerbread Display (Nov 11 – Dec 31), Wreath Display (Nov 11 – Dec 3) and Tabletop Tree Display (Nov 11 – Dec 14). Place your bid in the online auction for the display items.

Powers Farm Market: Live Nativity Trail

November 15 – December 24
Looking for a winter outing that the entire family will enjoy? There’s never a shortage of good times to be had when you visit Powers Farm Market during the winter! We feature a wide range of seasonal items and hand-crafted gifts for decorating your home, including holiday ornaments, fresh floral arrangements, decorative wreaths, Christmas trees and much more. Or treat yourself to a hot cocoa, cider or coffee while you gather around the blazing fire outside our holiday marketplace. Our Live Nativity through an interactive wooded trail is a wonderful way to celebrate the spirit of the season.

Holidays at Rochester Public Market

Sundays– November 26, December 3, December 10 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Thursday December 14, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. 
A Rochester holiday tradition for over 26 years, Holidays at the Market features dozens of holiday-focused vendors (fresh-cut trees and wreaths, decorations, specialty foods and beverage products, hand crafted items, seasonal treats, and much more!)  The Market will be decked out in holiday lights, festive music, and have limitless local shopping and unique gift items. This year, Santa and the horse-drawn carriage rides are BACK from 9 AM -2 PM! A special evening market Thursday, December 14th, 6 pm -9 pm, in collaboration with the Market District Business Association and Specials at Market District restaurants and shops! Enjoy an evening market with unique shopping, and entertainment throughout the Market District, Santa and carriage rides! 

Roc Holiday Village

December 1 – 23
The fifth annual Roc Holiday Village presents 17 days of enchanting festivities from December 1 to December 23, every Wednesday to Sunday. The downtown Rochester festival features free ice skating and skate rentals, a unique Shopping Village, free visits with Santa, fire pits with outdoor seating, indoor and outdoor bars with tasty food and drinks, hand-crafted goods, Cozy Winter Igloos, free crafts for kids, holiday celebrations, live music, private events, nightlife and more.

Lamberton Conservatory Holiday Show

The Lamberton Conservatory at Highland Park decorates with poinsettias and holiday lights with extended hours in the evenings.

It’s A Wonderful Life In The South Wedge Neighborhood Holiday Festival

Celebrate the Magic of the Holidays at the It’s a Wonderful Life in the South Wedge 2023 Holiday Festival! Get ready for a festive extravaganza that will fill your heart with holiday cheer! The South Wedge neighborhood is coming alive with the Holiday spirit, and you’re invited to join in the merriment! Live music, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, meet and greet with Santa.

Genesee Country Village & Museum: Yuletide in the Country

As you explore the wintry village bedecked in holiday splendor you’ll be invited into vignettes that illuminate the link between today’s cherished holiday traditions and the cultural customs of generations that came before. Plus, enjoy a sumptuous dinner and cash bar in our festively decorated Meeting Center Lounge, alight with holiday cheer and a roaring fire. 

New York Museum of Transportation: Holly Trolley Train Rides

December 10, 16 and 17
Join us for a trip through the rural Rush countryside in our heated trolley. Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and take a picture, have a cup of hot chocolate and holiday cookies, stroll the decorated museum, see the Midtown Plaza Monorail, and visit our large model train room.
