Easy Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

Chicken broth is so good for you and easy to dish up in this easy Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe! Great to make when family members aren’t feeling well or it’s just cold outside. Here is a no non-sense recipe that is ready with just a little prep work.

Ingredients

Half a pound of chopped cooked chicken
Half a cup of diced onion
Half a cup of diced celery
48 ounce box of chicken broth
1 can of vegetable broth
1 cup of sliced carrots
1 cup of egg noodles
1 tablespoon of butter
Basil
Oregano
Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Cook your half pound of chicken in a pan with olive oil. Chop when cooked.
  2. Dice your onion, celery and carrots.
  3. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in large pot. Add onion and celery. Cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
  4. Add chicken broth, vegetable broth, chicken, noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, salt and pepper to the pot and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
