Rochester International Jazz Festival

This is one of the world’s largest Jazz festivals!
Children are welcome at outdoor free shows and jazz workshops. Shows on Jazz Street start at 3:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily with music appropriate for families, including the best high school jazz bands from the region. We also offer noon shows at the library that are free. Many families bring their children to Jazz Street for food and free music. Headphones are highly recommended for loud outdoor shows. Tickets are required for children for all ticketed headliner shows at Eastman Theatre.
The Festival takes place in the East End Cultural and Entertainment District. All venues are within walking distance of each other, so park once and walk to everything. The Festival does NOT operate any parking but there are many surface lots and ramp parking garages conveniently located near festival venues. Fees vary.
