Free And Cheap Summer Movies

Bring on the popcorn! It’s summer and there are plenty of chances to take the family to a movie with Free And Cheap Summer Movies. Free movies are playing around Rochester and several theaters have summer movie programs for tickets as little as $1.

Free Summer Movies

Movies With A Downtown View | Rochester

Downtown Definitely Events is bringing back this popular event for three nights this summer. All screenings are free and family-friendly. Attendees can grab a bite to eat from local food trucks and enjoy movie concession items. All Movies will be screened outdoors on an 18-foot wide, 10-foot high LED video wall. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Screenings starting at dusk.

  • July 19 – “Aquaman And The Lost City” at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park at 7:00pm
  • August 16 – “The Little Mermaid” at Parcel 5 at 7:00pm
  • September 6 – “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” at Parcel 5 at 7:00pm

Family Outdoor Movie Nights | Pittsford

Sutherland High School Field – 55 Sutherland St, Pittsford, NY 14534

Enjoy a fun family movie experience. Shown on a giant inflatable screen. The movies begin at dark. Please note, pets are not allowed. The movies are free. It’s sure to be a great time with family and friends – bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and join us!

Movie In The Park | Henrietta

Lights, Camera, Action! Gather the family and join us for a movie under the stars at Veterans Memorial Park. Event starts at 7:00pm. Includes children’s entertainment, inflatables, lawn games and more! Snack food and ice cream concessions available for purchase.

Movie Under the Stars | Parma

The Parma Town Park movie experience is back! Join us for the night featuring a showing of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023 Release)! To start the evening, there will be bouncies, themed activities, and food trucks followed by our movie feature. There will be picnic style movie seating up front with the option to set-up drive-in style behind the seating area. The event is FREE, but we do ask you pre-register and indicate if you prefer the front seating area or a drive-in space. Look for VIP contest details to be released as we approach the event date. Food and snacks will be available for purchase.
